I want to tell you a little story about empowerment, thanks for listening... ☺️ I got to choose the gift in the picture from a variety of other wonderful options. I picked the necklace because who doesn’t love a pretty tassel necklace?! But what I didn’t know was that this necklace was made with ❤️ by a woman in Kenya - giving her the financial tools in a developing community, and empowering her to earn a sustainable income and provide for her family!
Wow, how amazing is that? Being empowered by others to work hard for my family while empowering another woman to work hard for her family? It’s a beautiful thing and I love being a part of the circle. 💕
If you want to be a part of the empowerment circle I’d love to guide you on your path! In the spirit of giving, I’m gifting this box of 10 “give it a glow” sample packs for YOU to be empowered to jumpstart your journey! 💕 💕After all GIVE-ing is what it’s all about

Hakuna kiumbe chenye kuweza kumpa mwanaume thamani kama mwanamke ukitaka kugundua piga takwimu ndogo kwa wanaume wanaojielewa chunguza aina ya wanawake walio nao .
“I am hoping and praying that by the time you go out into the world to make your own life, it will be a New, Modern World! A world that will not care about which nationality, which race and most importantly, which gender you belong to — it will only care about your merits, your hard work and your talent. A world, where women will be celebrated everyday, and not just on the 8th of March as a token! But until then, I can only lead by example (you are too young for sermons anyway). I wish I can assure you that every boy you meet will be as feminist as your brother and father, but that may not be the case. And I am hoping that you will well know that changing yourself to fit into the society’s idea of how a woman should be will never make any woman happy — least of all. And, at all times, I want you to be free, free to live the life you want, to wear what you feel, to fall in love with who you choose, to choose the career you want, not getting married till you are ready even if it’s at 40, and to be fearless women because it’s not always going to be a man’s world, you know. Hell, if I had believed that, I would not be where I am today — writing this letter to my best friend — my queen— yes, always a queen and never princesses, because queens rule! And above all, we don’t need a WOMAN’S DAY to celebrate us. We will celebrate ourselves everyday!” #farahkhan#empowerment#mywishforyou#myanchor#driven#toempowerwomen
