aaaaaand my advanced screenprinting final, a little artbook zine !! The contrast of different colored interior papers is a visual idea I’ve been toying with for a long while now, so it was neat to have an excuse to try and run with it.
In 2015, I studied Japanese for an entire semester. This is all that remains. An impractical language anti-guide, each ‘lesson’ features drawings of my long-ago study abroad. This zine (and me) are at Tokyo Zinester Gathering with @zine_coop this weekend, and online at kaitlinchan.com/store! So surreal to be back in the city I turned twenty-one. 🍙 #zine#risograph#japanese#failure #tokyo

If you missed out on my zine, “Maybe This Will Fix It,” I ordered a handful more for the last time. Link in my bio to purchase!! Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart to everyone who supported this endeavor. I’ve always wanted to write something in my lifetime, even if it’s just a small zine. It meant the world to hear such positive feedback from all y’all....maybe I’ll do it again.
