Yoga fun and Beyonce dance parties in the garden✨ this pretty much summarises what we have been doing the past few days.
A week a go I had to put a stop to filming, editing and writing because of a sudden wrist strain and this was so difficult for me being such an A type of a Monica Geller person! 😁
But really after the first day of feeling like: Thanks Universe, real nice of you, didn't need this right now -talk, I noticed how this was a very necessary intervention.
I believe we get lessons and hints from the Universe all the time and if we don't listen the lessons keep returning and the hints just get louder.
I was so meant to take a moment to reflect what I'm doing and where I want to focus. I was also meant to dance to Beyonce with Ava like a couple of lunatics, I love her so much there's no price for the time spent with her ❤️ My wrist is healing and my mind is clearing, with this small wrist strain I got the chance to reflect what is important and what is my heart telling me, what I need to let go of and what I want to do more.
So really if we learn to see the bumps on the road as opportunities to learn from, we can grow and go on with our lives with much more ease and happiness.

I’ve been loving to bond with this baby over yoga!
He’s clearly better than me at it 😅
but it has motivated me to get better! Now i even want to work out! 🙆🏻♀️
We got a chance to take some days off as a family in a beautiful resort🥰 and we were able to continue our yoga adventure thanks to being able to take @bulldogyoga with us wherever we go!

Killing time before preschool + filling my acro yoga cup with sweet little Rowan. Partner yoga is such a great way to build trust, communication skills and increase happiness through lots of giggles!

People often ask me how they can get their children interested in yoga. My answer is always the same—practice around your kids. Make it something they are used to seeing you do anytime, anywhere. Make it casual, let go of any expectations that you have of your practice, and do your best to focus while all the chaos and commotion is around you. They’ll see your effort. They’ll see you work to concentrate, and they’ll see you trying to have fun. Kids mirror what they see. Practice often, even for a few minutes here and there, and soon, they’ll be drawn to the mat and your energy. My kids are used to seeing me #stopdropyoga and they always want to join in and see if they can do the poses too. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen with consistency and a smile on your face. You can see sweet Mini Me playing in the background while I did some #yogaonthebeach a few years ago in California. Fast forward to today, and she is right there with me, on my mat. 😊 So go on out there, shine your inner light, and be awesome! #asana#consistencyiskey#yogawithkidsaround

Previously days like this would have stopped me from rolling out my mat. The girls have been extra needing of my love and energy today and it’s on days like this I often find its when I’m likely to give less to myself - even when I actually need it the most! In acknowledging my responsibility to look after myself so I can be there fully for my family and recognising that self care isn’t selfish - but necessary, it becomes easier to fill myself up amongst the chaos.
The best bit? The girls love it too! These little light beings tune into the energy of the practice and they get it. From the outside I know it looks like I’m being run over by a pram (quite literally) and sometimes you don’t get to do exactly the same thing on each side or properly close your eyes for a full savasana, but you know what, it’s true what they say; “little by little, a little becomes a lot”. To those out there struggling to get to yoga, keep practicing, keep living it, keep doing it for you and for those you love.
