Welcome to YOSEMITE! 🇺🇸🏞🌲Can you believe in my entire life living in California I had never had a chance to visit Yosemite!? I know right, what kind of Californian am I!? The reason being, growing up my family would camp in Sequoia and Tahoe, so we never found it necessary to visit this awesome national park... until now! 🌲🌲 I partnered up with @lexusUSA to finally explore one of the most beautiful places on earth with the all-new Lexus UX, the first-ever luxury compact crossover in the Lexus fleet! With a best in-class turning radius and specially tuned suspension, the UX performs just as well in tight spaces as it does on the open road, which was absolutely perfect for driving those thin windy curves in the Yosemite mountains to the low long stretching valley roads! 🚘 We got to stop at the famous Glacier Point Rd endpoint with stunning panoramic views across the Sierra Nevada high country, with the curved tooth of Half Dome prominently in the foreground...Wow! Join along as I adventure through Yosemite! 📍FUN FACT: Yosemite might be our nation’s 3rd national park, but it sparked the idea of national parks. 26 years before it was a national park, President Lincoln signed the Yosemite Land Grant on June 30, 1864, protecting the Mariposa Grove & Yosemite Valley. It was the first time the government protected land because of its natural beauty so that people could enjoy it, and we’re still benefiting from their foresight today! 💚🇺🇸

Happy Friday! 🤩
I visited my bestie a few weeks ago and we drove a little over 3 hours from Vancouver to get here. 20 minutes into the hike, she turned back from not feeling well and I continued on. So glad to have made it to see this lake in real life!
𝐉𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 consist of 3 lakes: Lower, Middle, and Upper.
* Lower Joffre takes less than 5 minutes of a walk, but super crowded.
* Middle Joffre was where I took this exact shot and takes an average 2 hours each way to get to it. It wasn’t a stroll in the park to get here, lots of inclines!Once you reach this spot, there are several spots to have your lunch and enjoy the view or swim. This log I’m standing on had a 20 minute line queuing from the side of the lake. 🤣
* Upper Joffre was another 45 minutes after reaching Middle Joffre, which I didn’t go because I was concern of leaving my bestie in the car all day.
Parking is free but gets full here. There are several other lots but far away so definitely come super early or after lunch. We got there around 12:30PM and scored a spot as others were finished with visiting the lake. Parking is free.
If you can, use the restroom in the nearest close by town before you reach here. If you have to use it here, bring wetwipes or toilet paper.
If you’re planning on visiting Vancouver, save this post for the best lake around there! 🇨🇦 #canada#joffreelakes#vancouver

Does anyone remember the TV show LOST?!? Because this hotel in Costa Rica 100% looks straight out of a scene from the show 😂
