Beispielsweise das Abnehmen. Warum sollte ich mir ein unglaublich aufwendiges Gericht überlegen, wenn ich doch einfach ein ziemlich simples Gericht, wie diesen köstlichen Fake-Griesbrei von @jessi_ka_fit (den ich da gerade auf dem Bild esse) zaubern kann? Es ist simpel, lecker und macht uuuuunglaublich lange seeehr satt!
Und genau so werde ich meine Abnahme auch anpacken: Viele kleine, simple Rezepte raussuchen, die unfassbar lecker schmecken und richtig lange satt halten 🥰

I’ve been seeing a lot of misinformation about a specific hormone on Instagram lately- insulin. Seems to be the new thing that people are like wow insulin is the worst you need to eat x way so that you don’t get an insulin spike. I am very aware of the mechanisms behind insulin resistance and diabetes (btw inability to make or use insulin efficiently NOT too much insulin) but let’s clear things up about insulin for the normal + healthy individual.
Insulin is not just the “fat storage hormone” as I’ve seen it called. It’s also the fuel USE hormone. Under normal conditions, our blood glucose levels are NOT at 0. They’re actually never at 0. You’d be dead. Insulin and glucagon (and some other hormones including epinephrine and cortisol) work hard to maintain our blood glucose within a tight range. We need insulin. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you we don’t. Yes there are certain foods that can raise insulin levels more slowly (lower glycemic load) but that’s a conversation for a different time! Bottom line here is there’s a lot of hate and fear surrounding a hormone going around and its an essential hormone so ppl gotta chill.

Holidays are officially over tomorrow and I am ready to get back into routine.✅
Holidays have been amazing with my family❤️ but there is nothing like sleeping in your own bed.✨
Baby update- the last week or so I have noticed my stomach is getting fuller quicker so I’ve started reducing my meals as I feel sick if I eat too much.
•Baby is SOOO active which I don’t remember as much with baby number 1 as I was 20kg heavier😀
•I’m currently living in my @cottonon Maternity tights as nothing else is comfortable for my growing belly and butt!
•Had my glucose test a few days ago 🥴 which I’m waiting on my results for (didn’t have gestational diabetes with number 1).
Currently have gone from wanting to eat all the savoury things to gettingvthat 3 pm sweet tooth, so I’ve basically been making sure I have fresh fruit in the fridge and have warned hubby to not say yes to any desserts or snacks so I don’t cave HAHA 😂
Other than that all is well!
Baby’s room is coming along nicely and just have a few items to buy before starting to prepare our hospital bags 💼 🙊time is flying second time around!! This week I am going to make a conscious effort to drink my 2L of water a days and to make the gym at least two times and walk on the other days.🌈💕

ask & you should receive, here’s a body weight, plank-only core circuit to light up every muscle in your core!💛💪🎉 lets start this week off right, no excuses, this circuit can be done ANYWHERE since it’s all bodyweight exercises.
i love doing plank focused core exercises because it not only fires up the core, but it incorporates a lot of balance as well.
alright, no excuses this Monday morning, let’s get it!!!🤪😎
do each exercise for 30 seconds, going straight into the next one with no rest. once you have completed the first round, do not take a break & go thru it 3 (or 4) more times for a total of 4-5 rounds! a nice and simple 10-12.5 min core circuit.
✖️oblique spider crunches (do 15 seconds on one side, then switch to the other. try to keep your foot off of the ground the entire time.)
✖️side plank knee to elbow crunches (do one side for the whole 30 seconds and then switch to the other the next round.)
✖️plank walk outs (go only as far out as you can with good form, trust me, this is KILLER.)
and that’s all there is too it! an easy-to-follow, core circuit to light up every muscle in your tummy!

The last two weeks have been an absolute free for all in the best way possible. My best friend's bachelorette party and wedding will be wonderful memories for me for a lifetime. Living in the here and now will ALWAYS provide you with what you need; it will ALWAYS bring the most joy to your life. Celebrating love and the unity of a sweet couple makes living in the now easy... I want to take that and apply it to my daily life even more. NOW it's time to do what I do best; lift heavy weights and train others to lift heavy weights.
