I am the essential energy for my home. You know... that saying if Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy, couldn't be MORE true. It's become a priority for me to spend a few extra minutes scheduling meals and self care. Setting out my clothes for the next morning's workout. Going to bed with the kids so I could get up early and spend time in silent preparation, making a quiet place in my mind. When there is a plan, I wake up with purpose.

𝟏𝟎 𝐌𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐌𝐑𝐀𝐏 (𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞)
1. Push-up ➡️ downward dog stretch ➡️ 4 mountain climbers = 1 rep. Do this 5-10 times
2. Reverse lunge ➡️ knee drive = 1 rep. Do this 5 times each leg
3. Prone Superman (arms extend out in front, lift chest off ground) ➡️ elbows to sides (squeeze back muscles) = 1 rep. Do this 5 times and hold each position for 3 seconds minimum
4. Glute bridge ➡️ 2 alternate marches (lift one foot off the ground while bringing knee towards head, other foot stabilizes in a single leg bridge, then bring foot back to ground, repeat on other side) = 1 rep. Do this 10 times
-complete exercises 1-4 = 1 round
-see how many rounds you can complete in 10 minutes. Next time try and beat your score
-adjust # of reps based on your level of fitness/energy

📙There is a lot of rhetoric out there around the negative impact anxiety can have on our lives. And rightly so. For some of us, it's really difficult [and that's an understatement].
📙Anxiety can have a function too. Anxiety is like an alarm that goes off, telling us something isn't right. It may not always have a rational message to convey like the ones above + it may go off more regularly than we wish [she says from experience], but it always has information- Data its collected from
our environment, our body, our subconscious
📙Because of the nature of anxiety, we may not always have the energy in the present moment to look at what that might be. We build this capacity over time, with curiosity, compassion + for some of us, therapy
📙Next time you notice your anxiety level rise, try + indulge that curiosity muscle. What data is it you might have collected?
Is it in the body? What's happening environmentally? Where did your thoughts go?
