The 1......2 drill should be done at a controlled pace. This drill should always be done at a slow pace and doing it 1.2 is too quick. Hitters should fully load and then the 2 cue should be given, you can delay the 2 cue but should never call 2 until the player is loaded into the hip, activating the glute to stabilize and control his/her swing
Slow load....controlled approach forward....hit taters!
