The face of a kid who’s mastered his list! You might remember early on this fall, we started a “morning routine list” (last photo) - working on greater independence and responsibility. We tweaked it a few times along the past couple months, but not too much. It really did help him take care of his own business in the morning and mom could actually head out for her run a bit earlier 😁. The goal with our list (and really with any scheduled list) has always been to fade it out; to get the routine down so the list isn’t really needed any more. This week, he rocked the routine without the list! A few reminders here and there (brushing teeth) but other than that, he’s got it down and making his own lunch is just a part of life now #nice We haven’t worked too much with lists lately - we did early on with things like potty training and night time routines, but this one worked out well. Do you use a schedule for anything with your kids?
