This is a crafty single-celled organism, Thuricola. It builds itself a shell to avoid predators. Can you see the vase-like structure around Thuricola? That's the shell. I wish I could build one so I can avoid my responsibilities.
When something touches the Thuricola, it instantly retracts itself into the shell. Retraction happens in a couple of milliseconds! In this clip, some nematodes are swimming around, and they were occasionally scaring the poor Thuricola.
And if you look carefully, you can see there is even a "door" inside the shell. It stays open when Thuricola extending and closes when it retracts.

From @CNN Reindeer herds tend to circle in a counter-clockwise direction; giraffes move their left leg first when splaying their legs; chimpanzees and gorillas show a significant right-hand bias, while orangutans show the opposite.
Now, scientists have found that common bottlenose dolphins show a preference for their right side when it comes to foraging for food on the seabed.
Around 90% of humans are right-handed, while in animals the ratio is usually around 80/20, said researcher Dr. Jennifer Kaplan.
WHEY VS CASEIN (science)
💡Both whey and casein are proteins with complete amino-acid profile and superior digestion/absorption capabilities.
What are the major differences tho'?
➡️1st one is obviously digestion rate.
Whey is fast-acting protein that reaches blood stream (and spikes blood amino-acids levels) faster. ➡️Casein has a slower digestion rate and reaches the blood stream somewhat slower but it stays in the blood stream significantly longe
(casein(8hours) vs. whey(3hours) roughly)
💡Based on studies major difference between the two is that whey spikes blood amino-acids levels to greater extent and triggers greater muscle protein synthesis while casein helps in muscle preservation because it decreases muscle protein breakdown more efficiently.
💡This might seem like whey is superior for building muscle but not exactly because although whey spikes amino-acid levels much higher it also leaves the bloodstream much faster.
On the other hand casein stays in the bloodstream longer and based on studies this results in approximately the same impact on net muscle protein synthesis over the course of the day.
💡Interesting thing is that although whey contains more leucine, caseine creates higher net leucine balance primarily because it decreases muscle protein breakdown more efficiently.
💡If we go through meta-analysis it seems that whey has better short-term effect (directly in peri-workout period) but if we compare long term effects of whey vs casein all subjects achieved approximately the same amount of muscle growth whether they used whey or casein.
It's important to mention that in order for a study to be considered accountable: subjects total daily protein and energy intake has to be matched.
⚫If we compare every variable; whey and casein bring basically the same results and have the same benefits looking long term (+ both contain traces of the other form).
So there is no winner really! Both are once again just a simple protein!
Combining the both is probably the smartest option but let's face it; whey is cheaper 🤷♂️😂

Bakteri içinde çoğalan fajlar yüzünden parçalanarak ölür ve fajlar yeni ev aramaya başlar.Bu işlem böyle devam eder.Bakteriler direnç kazandıkça fajlar kendini geliştirmektedir ve bu savaşı fajlar önde götürmektedir.
Bir hastanın göğsünde oluşan bir enfeksiyona hiç bir antibiyotik etki etmemiştir ve bunun üzerine Faj Virüsü enjekte edilmiştir.Bunun sonucunda hasta enfeksiyondan kurtulmuştur.
