Great mail day today! The final piece of the phenomenal trilogy by @robzombieofficial & Co. has arrived! (Think it was a trilogy, though not sure why; did I read that? Hope there's more, what with #RichardBrake adding a great new piece to the puzzle.) #ThreeFromHell is a wild ride that picks up right where #TheDevilsRejects ends, and it's a bloody good time. Sad to see the great #SidHaig (Rest In Peace) play Captain Spaulding for the last time; he made such a heinous man so likeable! #RobZombie is one of America's best filmmakers, and these films are testament to his knowledge of horror, film, music, and general ass-kickery. #HouseOf1000Corpses#GreatFilm
Under 6 hours of makeup is this dashing man. We got to meet Richard Brake this morning 🥶 and he is incredibly nice! I gifted him a doll because truth be told, the night king is my favorite. I was cheering for him to take the throne! If you ever have the chance to meet him, do so! #thenightking#got#gameofthrones#albequrquecomiccon#richardbrake

The film follows “Stephanie Patrick, an ordinary woman on a path of self-destruction after her family is tragically killed in a plane crash. The final Pops from my 1st Pick Up of 2020 are Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, Night King & Cersei Lannister on The Iron Throne. Got these from the closing gamestop for $10 a piece. These were the only ones they had left and I only needed The Night King & Cersei Lannister to complete my set. Couldn't leave them there tho, so I grabbed them all.
Towards the end of the film, Red tells the cult leader that the psychotic drowns where the mystic swims. This is a variation of a quote by mythologist, Joseph Campbell: "The psychotic drowns in the same waters in which the mystic swims with delight." (Joseph Campbell, "Psychology of the Future: Lessons from Modern Consciousness Research"). Meaning, that there's a fine line between psychosis and spirituality.

Mandy is a very unique film. It is, as my friend once put it, like peering into hell itself. The visionary mind of Panos Cosmatos seems to have taken Nicolas Cage’s unique set of monstrous acting abilities and crafted a film that perfectly fits every one of his skills. The film bleeds peculiarity. Deep soulless blacks, ethereal pinks and infernal reds fill the screen, then scream in your face as Jóhann Jóhannsson’s mystical original score melts your mind. Mandy makes the revenge genre its own by taking an alternative narrative route. Instead of 30 short minutes of set up, as many of these films do, it rather gently guides you through each character and allows time to build up motivations and personality. The first half of this film is quiet and peaceful. It gives us reason to care for Mandy and feel Red’s infinite pain. It carefully depicts the evil and all their wickedness, so in turn, the unspeakable horror to come is understandable and very much welcome on screen. It doesn’t dump you in a bad situation instantly so an endless array of uncared for characters can die for 2 hours on end, and because of this, many people won’t like this film. It is slow. Some conversations and scenes seem entirely without reason and you may feel like 40 minutes of this film should have been cut… But without that, the second half just wouldn’t be as good. Instead of displaying the mass murder of a faceless army without showing the immeasurable pain the protagonist is going through, the film rather does the complete opposite. It takes time to show his unfathomable anguish, the preparation of the hunt, and the journey between each kill. By introducing a small group of cultists, and a random group of motorbike gimps, we are blessed with knowing everyone involved and exactly what they did personally, therefore making their extreme, gruesome deaths ever so satisfying.
The film can essentially be split into two halves. The first being slow and meaningful, and the second being fucking hardcore drug-fuelled nightmare. Each half maintains its own special atmosphere and that may seem very weird to some people. (continued->)
We just announced a signing with Richard Brake! Get excited!

I now have the complete collection of Iron Thrones. I think I would've been happier if any of these (2 in particular) actually happened in season 8, versus what actually happened, SMMFH. At $25 a piece there was no way I was going buy them but at $10 a piece, I'm all over that.
“Heading back to a 5 day work week after all the holidays feels a bit like this.”🖤
31-A Rob Zombie Film 2016

While trapped inside this man-made hell, they must fight to survive playing the most violent game known to man… a game called 31. 31 has no rules. 31 has no boundaries. It is ever so simple.
