Book number SEVEN.
I saw from my Facebook memories that on this day in 2015, my very first book got published. Four years. Seven books. .
Okay, this one is a bit different as it’s part-compilation, part-new, but actually, for me, this is probably my one of favourites. I loved working on this one.
The book is out now. Get your signed copy from @scandikitchen’s webshop (or as it happens I’m working from the café in London today Tuesday if you happen to pop by. Happy to chat cake!)
Photography by @petecassidyfoto, styling by @kordalisk & @tonykhutchinson, art direction by @sonyanathoo And published by @rylandpetersandsmall - the best team ever. Thank you, guys ❤️).

Are you heading overseas this holiday season?! Good luck!! There’s a link to my latest article on tips for long haul travel in my bio ✈️ 🚀Here’s a flashback pic to when we took both boys to the UK almost two years ago....I remember taking this photo at London Heathrow and thinking OMFG - I’d rather be anywhere than about to embark on 24 hours of flying with kids. So stressssssful!! BUT it actually wasn’t that bad and having now done the long haul with kids for many years, we have the whole process down pat. I wrote about my top tips for flying with kids for @mamamiaparents in association with @emirates 💕It worked beautifully as Toby and I have just returned from the UK - flying Emirates 🇦🇪 Happy travels!!
#TBT to July when I had a poem published in Haiku Journal Issue 63 and somehow missed the "you got published" email... until last night! Whoops. 😳 All of the journal issues are available online, so I'm now enjoying everyone else's evocative haikus. You can read issue 63 for free online at haikujournal.org/e-issues
