We’ve been consistent for the past two or three weeks with school time and I’m just amazed at the results that I’m seeing out of my almost 4 year old. 😱
She’s been writing the letters of her name on the whiteboard and I’m impressed with how she has just taken ownership and ran with it. She’s recognizing the letters and doing her very best with writing them. Of course I still have to encourage her throughout but I’m proud of her.
I know this homeschooling journey is JUST the beginning and there’s so much more to be done but it just comes to show that kids shouldn’t be forced to learn something at a certain time. Everyone develops differently and at different times and that is the beauty of how God created us. Wonderful and so unique.
My daughters worth or identity is not going to be found on how fast she learns to read, how fast she recognizes all letters or numbers, or if she has a good comprehension. What truly matters is her soul and her little heart. One of the many reasons why we are homeschooling. More to come on this. 🥰♥️💕💤
Whatever worries you have for your kids, let it go and give it to the Lord. It’s all on His timing.
Tell me what is the most important goal or attribute or skills you want your child to learn?? #homeschooling#latenight#noworries#toddler#toddleryears
