CONT’D: World Smile Day is celebrated on the first Friday of every October. ℹ️
MY TAKE: Bravo! To the marketing team at Warner Bros. on that one. Now, the main issue people seem to have with this film is they think some audience members may take away the wrong things from this film, and it may negatively impact their behaviour. I am of the opinion that the consumption of media will never be the root cause of any act of violence. 🤗
QUESTION: Do you think films can influence people into acts of violence? 🤔

Following a rocky year for its host, The Wendy Williams Show will be staying on daytime TV through 2022. The talker has been renewed for two more seasons.
The news was announced on the same day that the show kicked off its 11th season on air. Wendy Williams had this to say about the renewal: “I’m so excited to launch our 11th year by letting the world know I will continue to do what I love to do so much and for a very long time. I want to tell Fox and all of our stations today how much their support and confidence means to me. They should know we will never stop working very hard to bring our dedicated Wendy Watchers and audience co-hosts the freshest national daytime television.”
The renewal comes after a very rocky year for Wendy Williams herself. She took an extended hiatus from the show to focus on her health and revealed that she was diagnosed with Graves’ disease, an immune disorder that causes hyperthyroidism. Williams returned from her TV break in March and shortly after revealed that she had been living in a sober house. She capped off her rocky year with the announcement of her divorce from her husband after it was revealed he had cheated and fathered a kid with another woman.
Despite the tough year, Williams has come out of it better than ever and the demo strength of her show has only increased as her audience has rallied behind her. The renewal of her show comes during a crowded time for syndicated daytime talk which include shows from Kelly Clarkson, Tamron Hall and Mel Robbins.

🎥Nocturnal Animals (2016) by Tom Ford🌌
The story of Susan (Amy Adams), who gets sent a manuscript written by her first husband. The manuscript tells a dark, nightmarish story of a deeply wounded man seeking justice for a crime that involved his family. As Susan reads the book, it provokes deep and buried feelings inside of her, especially feelings of guilt, and it forces her to take a look at the past she and Edward (Jake Gyllenhaal) once shared.✨
I loved a lot of things about this movie, especially the impressive performances of the leads. But what captivated me the most is the suspenseful nature of the film: especially in a long haunting scene where a group of criminals stop Edward's car and start threatening him and his family, making them live a literal nightmare.🌌
Sausage Party - QUICK REVIEW 🎬
Sausage Party is Seth Rogen’s foray into adult animation but completely forgets that it doesn’t have to be exclusively sex jokes and vulgarity to make an animation aimed at adults.
The core themes of this film bring up some interesting ideas about self reflection and finding your purpose but puts this narrative to one side to focus on swearing a lot and making jokes that are maybe too on the nose. It also relies heavily on these jokes to carry the film, but they rarely landed and weren’t enough to save the silliness of it all.
I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece from Sausage Party but I was thinking I’d laugh a few times - instead I found myself rolling my eyes and becoming very tired very quickly of the whole point of the movie.
There was maybe a good idea hidden in here somewhere but unfortunately I failed to find it. Sausage Party instead felt immature and just plain stupid. 1.5/5.
After one season that was split into two parts, Netflix has canceled the comedy No Good Nick starring Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin.
The multi-camera comedy starred the duo as Liz and Ed, a hyper-competitive career mom and lovable but dorky “fun dad,” respectively, who unwittingly welcome 13-year-old Nick — short for Nicole (Siena Agudong) — into their family of four before realizing she is a street-smart con artist with a secret agenda.
The series received a 20-episode order in September 2018. The first 10 episodes of the series, or part 1, were released on April 15, followed by the second 10 on August 5. Netflix typically doesn’t release viewership info so the reason for the cancellation is unclear but I’m sure it just wasn’t bringing what it needed to for the streamer.
