Most people become disheartened if they don’t feel that they’re making meaningful progress in their work, at home, in the gym, nutrition. It can be easy to let your success pass by unnoticed…
Celebrate those #littlevictories - Daily achievements don’t have to be large, but they do add up! #motivationmonday
What can struggling with hormonal imbalance do to you? Well depends I've had hormonal imbalances for 5 years now, and was recently diagnosed hypothyroid yet had low T4 since 2015 (which makes so much sense now), but never felt as bad as I do now. The weight up is just part of recovery and I know it so I am learning from it but OMG its annoying. To see 10lbs up in 7days wasn't something to look forward to and trying to heal the #gut is becoming overwhelming. I wasnt understanding why my body was doing this if I haven't competed nor felt as if I was starving... but maybe I was doing to much and definitely stress has increased so it caused more chaos. BUT I am taking this as a learning experiment. I haven't been this weight (148lbs) since 3 years ago if I am correct. I want to keep studying about the gut microbiome and hormones and more importantly about metabolic "damage", although its not really damaged people lol. Time to fix it and #heal so I can get back to #fitmom life and feeling good (btw feeling good doesn't have a weight it is SERIOUSLY based on how you feel before how you look ladies). The #recovery process I won't lie sucks but it's needed. I did this to myself for not slowing down. So I think it's that time, even if I don't feel/look my best to fix these issues. I wanted to post this so you see even athletes go through things we can't always be super shredded (it's not healthy, even if I love that look) and although I wanted to try and compete again that might have to wait I don't wish this upon anyone. So my advice: take care of your health and seek advice before it gets worse (my lesson learned).
