Debo decir que fue un reto -más mental que físico- (aunque suene increíble) mantener 10 semanas una dieta normocalórica y a la par reducir el ejercicio cardiovascular casi a ceros porque en últimas ese cambio de "Chip" que se implanta en uno después de algún tiempo (en coadyuvancia con lo tanto contenido que nos bombardea diariamente en redes y etc.) genera arraigos a creencias y pensamientos limitantes en cierto sentido que como personas "del común" que estudiamos o trabajamos en cosas diferentes al #fitness cuyo fin se basa en mantenerse saludable y lograr una estética sostenible, no van a afectar realmente o comportan sacrificios que en algún momento van a terminar en el desapego de tu proceso
Ahora, después de ese pequeño 'Restart' que le di a mi cuerpo (repito, tanto físico como mental) estoy más que #motivada para iniciar este proceso de #definición con @juliovalerov así que veámos cómo nos va ¿no?🔥🙌🏻

I would have a cookie 🍪, feel guilty 😩 then end up eating ½ the pack… And then I’d stress & beat myself up about it… which was probably doing me more harm than good.
Research shows stress may wreak havoc on your metabolism... We’ve known for some time that stress is connected to weight gain, because a high level of the stress hormone cortisol has been shown to up appetite, drive cravings for junk food. Let’s make things clear. There isn’t one single food on this earth that will make you gain weight. Its your TOTAL CALORIES overall.
If you are consistently eating in a SURPLUS (more calories than your body is burning) than you will gain weight.
If you are eating in a DEFICIT (eating less calories than you’re burning) than you will lose weight. It doesn’t matter if your eating salads 🥗or eating pizza 🍕its your overall calories intake.
I🙋🏻♀️like to follow the 80/20 rule 80% of my foods are from whole 🥦 nutritious foods and 20% of my foods are from less nutritious fun 🍩 foods.
All foods fit in moderation.
This is just a reminder: DON’T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF.
Give yourself credit ✅ for the fact that you are trying to do better by leading a HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE.
This journey should be a fun one.
One that actually makes you feel good 😌. Remember it’s what you do consistently that matter.

This savory vegetarian chili is made with Tony Horton's(ya he’s the one who co created P90X) signature spice blend, black and kidney beans, and spicy jalapeños.😲 I most likely won’t be making it too hot🥵 simply because Jason isn’t a huge spice fan.😢But I absolutely love the idea of using our meatless ground beef. I’ve said it before but I’m all about using the slow cooker. I’ve been really eyeing some acti fries or insta pots too. What would you all recommend? •
1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1 tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
¾ tsp. sea salt (or Himalayan salt)
2 Tbsp. cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 cups water
1 cup canned (or cooked) black beans
1 cup canned (or cooked) kidney beans
1 (28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes (or crushed heirloom tomatoes)
3 Tbsp. agave nectar
3 bay leaves
3 Tbsp. extra-virgin organic coconut oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup chopped carrots
2 medium jalapenos, seeded and deveined, chopped
1 (8-oz.) package meatless breakfast patties, thawed, chopped (6 patties)
1 cup chopped cremini (or white) mushrooms
1. Combine basil, oregano, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, cacao powder, and cinnamon in a small bowl; mix well. Set aside.
2. Place water, black beans, kidney beans, tomatoes, agave nectar, bay leaves, and half of spice mixture in a large slow cooker; mix well and cover. Turn heat to low.
3. Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
4. Add onion, bell pepper, carrots, jalapenos, and breakfast patties; cook, stirring frequently, for 6 to 8 minutes, or until onions are translucent.
5. Add mushrooms and remaining half of seasoning mixture; cook, stirring frequently, for 5 to 6 minutes, or until mushrooms release their liquid.
6.Add onion mixture to slow cooker; mix well and cover. Turn heat to high. Cook for 2 hours. Containers(1.5💚, .5❤️, .5💛& 1🥄)

Changing one school at a time!!!
Since I started this biz and have seen the positive impact these products have done for so many people, it makes my heart so happy. Back in May, I did a fundraiser for Lakeview Elementary where my girls attend and I donated just over 1400$ It may seem like a lot of money, but if I can change one school at a time, that would be my goal! Nothing is worse than sending your kids to school and having them sick 3/4 of the school year. Having diffusers in the classrooms will help kill airborne bacteria and purify the air.
