Jen Gardiner's journey to actor is much like the many plot twists in an action packed film.
Growing up Jen always had a love for the arts.
In grade school she participated in musicals such as 'Oliver Twist' and 'The Wizard of Oz'. When high school rolled around she became the yearbook photographer and was constantly involved with choirs and the band which performed through-out Canada and the United States as well as participating in competitions.
Post high-school Jen started taking cake decorating classes for something to do and soon after became a Certified Sugar Artist.
After building two successful online businesses (one teaching marketing and one for cakes), Jen started to pay heed to the same advice she gave the clients she coached, "What makes you come alive?" She started enrolling in acting classes in August 2018 and landed her first lead role in January 2019 on the upcoming TV Series 'I, Terrorist' as highly trained spy Isabella Watkins.
Shortly after that, she landed a second principal role on the TV show 'Martyrs: The Chronicles of the Blood' as Pict Queen Modwenna (coming this October 2019). You'll be able to catch her in our upcoming feature film 'A Double-Edged Sword' as Sergeant Laurie Gordon.
She continues to train at Armstrong Acting Studios in Toronto, Ontario where she is fine tuning her ability to bring characters to life, script work and professional on set skills.
Jen also has background in Tae Kwon Do and her love of martial arts helped her easily transition into on-screen combat.
She trains at Rapier Wit in Toronto, Ontario for on-screen combat.
Jen has previous training with western horse back riding, firearms and was also was certified as a Red Cross First Responder.
Her training and life experience gives her the ability to fully embody her characters.

Desert forms when there has been a shortage of rain for a long time. This wave formation is due to the effect of the wind overtime. Water is life - even with animals that have adapted to the conditions eventually wildlife will attempt to move to where it rains.

Topo is a true savage. An alpinist through and through who’s passion for the mountains is immediately apparent. Had a blast running some interviews with him and digging into what makes him tick. Thanks for working with us @estebantopomena 🙏🏻 #theline#everest#roam#roam247
