🗣 NOW, what about staying healthy after sport ends? What about actual longevity for life? For a full, functional, pain free life? Life is about more than sport, and sport is about more than life. We must remember that instilling proper training, correctives, diet, etc is not only going to be beneficial in the short term but THE LONG TERM. .

🤸🏽♀️ Quad Rock + SL Abduction + Reach & Rotate .
1️⃣ Set up in a quadruped position with one leg outstretched. The weighted knee can be just under hip or out to the side for more of a groin stretch.
2️⃣ Sit butt back onto heel, maintaining neutral spine.
3️⃣ Reach through and “thread the needle”, eyes following hand.
4️⃣ Rotate up and exhale, focusing on tspine rotation not just shoulder movement.
5️⃣ Hand comes back down, rock hips forward.
6️⃣ Rinse. Wash. Repeat. .
This bad boy is great for a multidirection day, goes well paired with a lower push and upper pull day as well. .

Progressions matter! Lay a solid foundation of proper movement patterns before adding complexity. A tall kneeling position forces the body into a more proper length/tension relationship; lessoning the ability to compensate. Try it out! 🥊

I’m the lucky owner of a very hyper mobile body! That includes my ankles- the very things that interact with the ground and provide the (literal) foundation to my stable base. As you can see, my ankles need work; instability effect everything up the chain. .
This single leg stability lift is a great, simple, and effective ankle stability exercise. It not only challenges my ankles, but everything else up the chain as well (hip, core, shoulder stability). .
