Junko Murder of Junko Furuta is one the most horrific murders I've ever researched, and that is saying a lot. Junko had just celebrated her 17th birthday 3 days before she was kidnapped; this young lady was tortured for more than a month before she finally succumbed.
On November 25th of 1988, Junko was kidnapped after leaving school by 4 teenaged boys; the group took their victim to a home one of them shared with his parents; in the beginning the parents were told that Junko was one of their girlfriends, but that lie didn't last long. The group soon dropped the act, and one of the boys told the adults that he was a member of the Yakuza; if they said anything or tried to help the victim, they would be killed, too. Soon after the kidnapping Junko was forced to call her parents and tell them she had run away, then the torture began. What they did to this poor girl is unimaginable. If you're easily upset or the queasy type you may want to skip the rest of this post.
The teenagers raped Junko over and over again, between 400-500 times; the sexual assaults weren't only by these 4, up to 100 men took part in the rape and torture of this sweet and innocent young girl. Junko was beaten with weights and golf clubs, they even hung her from the ceiling and used her as a punching bag. They smashed Junko's hands, forced her to drink her own urine and eat cockroaches, and forced her to sleep outside in the dead of winter. The young men dripped hot wax on her face, they burnt her eyelids with a lighter, and stabbed her repeatedly in the chest with needles. Junko was starved, weights were dropped onto her belly, and she was often kept inside a freezer.
Junko tried more than once to get help; she begged her captor's parents to help her and they refused. She also tried to contact police- for these acts she was severely punished, with burning cigarettes and lighters.
As awful as all this was, the sexual torture must've been the worst. Not only did they rape her, the young monsters shoved a hot lightbulb inside her and pushed on her stomach until it burst. *CONT 1 BELOW* #crime#storytimethread#torture#Tokyo#Japan#junkofuruta

Maui continues to see progress in reducing its homeless population — now down to 862 individuals, according to the latest count — but back-to-back violence at a new homeless encampment underscores lingering problems.
The position of homeless program coordinator for Maui County was created in February 2017 after Maui’s homeless population grew from 1,137 homeless people in 2015 to 1,145 in 2016.
The numbers then fell dramatically: down to 896 in 2017, 873 in 2018 and 862 in January’s annual nationwide homeless census, called the Point in Time Count.
Most of the efforts are focused around Kahului and Wailuku, said Scott Morishige, the state’s homeless coordinator. The challenge is to scale the efforts that are working across the broader island and the rest of Maui County, he said.

Inspired by the viral New York Magazine article, Hustlers follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.
I am seriously falling in love with how this film turn out to be. Because to be honest i thought this will be just a usual type of crime film. But what makes it so good? It's the type of friendship that Lorene showcased in her film, the fierce, and surprisingly how make sense their intentions are. Because through the script, we get to see wjy these girls done it, and although it's a wrong thing to do, but as a matter of fact i think they're just trying to survive.
A lined up of mazing casts, not just because of the popularity, but also about the performances they delivered was seriously so great. Jennifer Lopez has proved that she is not just a B-Rated type of actress, she crushed it, showing the perfect picture of a most fearless leader, who is not just have the body and the heart but also the brain to run this crime into another level, while Constance Wu, is not only innocent but also showed us the type of protagonist that we want. And the rest of the cast are just amazing.
A film based on a real life story about a group of female strippers gathered around then hunt for an off guard guy then squeeze his money off his pocket, and even directed by a female director, so tell me isn't that the ultimate type of feminism? Because hell yeah, these entire cast and crew sure are having a good time making this film. And i obviously, hope that this crazy and thrilling film can at least got a nod on next year Academy Award.
