I had been waiting for Grinduro with great anticipation from a couple of months back. Nearing the D-day the event was on the danger of being cancelled due to the super typhoon Hagibis. I arrived in Tokyo with a rollercoaster of emotion, hoping that somehow the event is still on. Was elated when the organizer finally announced that it’s ON
In the midst of the typhoon threat, heavy rain, mist, mud, cold and tough terrain, I finally finished the first Grinduro in Asia, putting my name and Indonesia on number 36, among other participants from all over the world
Now it’s time to get drunk because the @grinduro party is starting soon
Have a great weekend everyone. Remember that #ridingistheanswer
I thought it would be fun to walk instead of take the subway. It was!!! But I severely miscalculated the implications of 60% humidity to a 40 minute walk 💦💦💦 Good thing the clubhouse has (iced!) coffee ☕ .
