#75hard — DONE (after three attempts)
For the past few months, I’ve followed a program called 75 Hard that’s designed to build self confidence, grit, perseverance, and a whole lot of other crucial life skills. In short, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.
Created by @andyfrisella, (If you’ve never heard the MFCEO podcast, please do yourself a favor and give it a listen) it involves doing a few simple tasks everyday with no compromises. There are diet, exercise, and mental components to the program. Easy, right?
The initial 75 day program took me 150+ days to complete because I screwed it up twice. No, I didn’t snap and slam a pizza. On day 65/75 of my first attempt, I woke up and realized I forgot to read the day prior. I was so exhausted from travel that I fell asleep before I read.
The rules of the program clearly state that if you screw up, you start over at day 1. Embarrassingly, I went on another week playing it cool. My plan was to brush over the fact that I forgot to read. Everyone told me “you’re so close, just finish anyway!”
But, on day 72, I felt terrible. If I had completed #75hard knowing that I cut one small corner, the entire thing would’ve been for nothing. With that, I finally owned up to my mistake and started over at day 1. It sucked.
If nothing else, this program has taught me that it’s just me at the end of the day. No one would’ve cared if I didn’t finish correctly. But, I would’ve have to look myself in the mirror everyday knowing I had cut a corner and failed to keep my word to myself.
This master bathroom oasis provides everything you need for an at-home spa treatment! The design ensures our clients have daily access to the health benefits of a spa and includes a custom sauna, a soaking tub, and an oversized walk-in shower done in carrara marble. A @laticrete heated flooring system was installed underneath this beautiful tile and can be adjusted to the desired temperature to ensure feet stay warm. Bring out the eucalyptus and lavender and you’re ready for a spa day at home!

You know that chainsaw in your garage? Well, this machine here is basically the same thing with a few minor differences. Let’s compare and contrast, shall we?
What does it cut? As I’m sure you’re aware, your chainsaw cuts wood. This one cuts the earth.
How much does it weigh? Yours is 10 pounds. This one is 200,000 pounds.
How much power does it have? Yours: 2 horsepower or so. This one: about 600 horses.
How do you work it? For yours, you pull the cord and squeeze the trigger. This one? You sit in a seat and push some buttons. It also has air conditioning. Yours does not.
Do you feel cool using it? Yes to both.

GREX patent pending auto-fire speed dial allows the GREX 71AF fine wire stapler to shoot one staple or rapid-fire several staples per single trigger pull. Turning the auto-fire speed dial counter-clockwise (towards A - Automatic) increases shots per minute and turning the auto-fire speed dial clockwise (towards S - Single) reduces shots per minute.
Phase 1, Update 24.3: ⠀
The final piece of the puzzle! Presenting our beautiful ZR Acoustic Panels from @DeltaHDesign in LA. ⠀
When setting up a room for mixing the most important thing is treating the room's acoustics. You can buy all the fancy gear and plugins etc in the world, but they won't really help if what you're hearing isn't accurate. From the get go when setting out with the new studio build I wanted to make sure the acoustics were excellent, which is why I have installed these devices. And aside from the acoustic treatment they provide, how awesome do they look?! ⠀
As far as I know, we are now one of the first, if not the first studio in Australia to have these acoustic devices installed! Some of the top engineers in the world swear by them, including: Al Schmitt, Eddie Kramer, Mick Guzauski, Ross Hogarth, Ryan Hewitt and many more. ⠀
This photo also shows off our beautiful desk from @zaorfurniture, which I'm still super stoked about! ⠀
Who wants to come in and mix their next project here?! 😃 ⠀
