Day[85-88] - what has been your latest project? 👨🏻💻
Starting off the week with some wordpress development. Over the weekend, I met with my client and overcame a few issues I was having 😊
Today, I will be continuing to finish off this project! I've really enjoyed adding a new skill under my belt 👍🏻
👉🏻 Have you recently learned a new skill/technology? What was it & how did it go??
👉🏻 If you could learn anything in a day, what would it be? 😆
On a side note, I have quite a few interesting pieces of content coming up, maybe a small giveaway soon so look at for that.
Until then, have a great Tuesday everyone! ☺️ Happy coding 💻✌🏻

My week started great! I learned this weekend about the Vue resource. The Vue resource is the old way of Vue of making http requests. Like the jquery.ajax(). Although it is retired, (meaning it is not included in the vue package anymore)it is still used by some. And to be honest, I liked the way it works.
But I will probably ended up only using Axios, so I want to learn it as soon as possible.
I also learned about routing and how it makes one single applications possible.
VueJS still impresses me with its simplicity and yet, good elaborated framework.
What about your week? 🤩

Now that I'm going back to school, there is nothing more satisfying than knowing your Internet connection is well taken care of. 👌🏼⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As a student, time is the MOST important factor I take into account. If my internet connection negatively impacts my time, then I definitely have a problem. 🤕⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've been using Bell Fibe Internet for little over a year now and I can definetly say that I have NEVER ever been so satisfied with my connection. 🔥 I used to have a weak signal in my house for multiple reasons. This became a HUGE nightmare since I was using my limited data on my phone without even realizing it. You can only imagine the bills! 😐 With Fibe, this sort of stuff just doesn't happen. My experience has been wonderful and thats why I genuinely decided to share this service with you guys! For those who are looking for a great service, I recommend you try it! Your wallet will definitely not regret it 😂 #FeelTheFibe@bell#sponsored
[91/100] 𝙲𝚂𝚂 𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚜 ✨
A few days ago I had one of those moments when I remembered I saw a while ago a tucked corners effect made by another developer 👨🏻💻. I thought that was cool. So I decided to give it a try and do it for myself.
For this code snippet I decided to use CSS gradients 🎨. It’s amazing how many CSS problems can be solved with gradients alone.
The main idea is to have 4 gradients that each occupy a quarter of the element's area (one for the bottom left, one for the bottom, one of the top right and one for the top left). Then you set the background to 4 linear gradients with the same color stops (in this case we wanted the corner size to be 10px*, so it was transparent until 10px and then the color we want from 10px) except the corners that are 45deg, 135deg, 225deg and 315deg respectively.
*Actually not exactly 10px, it's the length of the hypotenuse of an isosceles right-angled triangle, which is around 14px.
Let me know in the comments below what you think about this.

Have a great Wednesday everyone! 💋☺️
