#BachelorInParadise Mike Johnson defends asking out Keke Palmer on-air -- "I thought I was being cute"

I have recently been taking small bites out of my forever goal of continuous personal growth and it has come in the form of consistency. .
To me, consistency has meant that I show up for myself every day. I spend a little bit of time every day working towards my future. I do this when I don’t want to, because to be honest, most of the time I just want to watch the last season of Bachelor In Paradise!
✅Those 15 pushups every day will add up after 30 days.
✅ That 5 minute focus on gratitude will lead to greater happiness 6 months from now.
✅ All those bites of cake/pie/chips that you didn’t take will provide you a healthier mind and body 1 year from now.
✅Giving 60 minutes of your week to help others translates into hundreds of smiles, and an abundance of gratitude for your soul and those around you.
Whenever you are feeling down or overwhelmed, do one thing that may not matter much today, but if done consistently, will change your life in the future.
The last week has been emotional and stressful.
There has been a lot going on and it can get the best of you.
I decided today that I needed to allow myself some grace. I had a list of things I wanted to get done, but I told myself whatever I get done is fine and the rest can wait.
I did get some of the things knocked off my list, but I also spent some time just reading and relaxing.
I completed a good workout, washed my bed clothes, watched the rest of #bachelorinparadise while I folded a mountain of laundry. I did not make it a chore today.
Sometimes I put too much pressure on myself to do all the things. I knew today I couldn’t handle that.
Are you hard on yourself with making sure everything is done and perfect? Do you allow time to relax?
This weekend I need time to get myself together because next week is sure to be another crazy week.
It is the perfect fall day for reading on the patio!
