I like this one. It can be difficult to JUST make a difference in your life especially one that helps you become a better person.
I mean we all talk about starting or stopping a habit.
In reality it's not the habit that hinders us.
Its everything in between, right?
School, work, timing, schedules... For me it's the million voices in my head telling me to give up!
"Theres always tomorrow"
"It'll only be for today"
"Its easier to just give up.... right?" But I'm done with ALL that! I dont want to return to the old me! Now I use those voices as fuel to remind me of how I was before.
LAZY and ANNOYING!! Pretty soon i started to despise my old self and began to fall in love with the new habits I created.
Took awhile but I'm thankful now that I started. And that was just one habit I worked on but the same mental rules apply.
I feel like as a whole people focus so much on the habit and not how to support the habit.
Your habit will have an affect on your life. Its unavoidable.. your schedules, timing, school, and work will all have some sort of influence to your habit.
We HAVE to embrace this knowledge and support our habit. We have to prepare our habits to be sabotaged from every angle. Foriegn and Domestic.
We are jump starting our brain by doing this. We are preparing our brain to "buy in" to the habit and begin yearning for it.
There will be a time when you think to yourself "give up" but just remember.. you have NINJA training! You knew this day would come and you are empowered and prepared! Your brain is no match for you when you've pre made the decision to ignore the negativity and focus only on envisaging your habit. . . .
